Hidden deep within the human spirit is a yearning, a longing. A deep, desire for relevance. The inclination and drive toward a life of significance. A life that matters. After reading these first few sentences you may be able to breathe deeply and affirmatively smile knowing you are on such a path. If this is the case for you there are likely several factors leading to this understanding. Some examples may include: family support, religious convictions, and/or a healthy upbringing, to name a few. If you happen to find yourself on such a trajectory in life you may stop reading. But before you do, I would ask that you look closer to really examine whether the path you are on is the one you are meant to be on. Or, is it just the one your parents expect you to be on? Maybe you have yet to contemplate this question and are going about your days unaware really of your purpose.

You, however, were made for significance. You were made on purpose and for a purpose. To discover this purpose is worth everything! To really know you are not just wasting your time, day in and day out, punching a clock, paying the bills, yada yada. For what?! Is this all, folks? As the ol' Porky Pig Looney Tunes closing suggests? What if you were living and operating out of a place of passion and purpose, using all your gifts and talents? What if you were offering the world the best you have? What if you laid your head down on your pillow, absolutely spent, knowing all you did for the day was everything you were meant to do? What do you think that would be like? Let me offer some ideas: Fulfilling, satisfying, meaningful, significant, fun, hard, worth it, challenging, impossible, possible, exciting, scary, dangerous, passionate.
Today, you are alive. Today, you have breath in your lungs. Today, you can face the mountains in front of you. Today. Today. Today. Now.
What's that worth to you?
